My Personality Type and Belief System

According to "16Personalities test", my personality type is said to be ENFP-T (campaigner). It is said that Campaigners are a vibrant force of enthusiasm, creativity, and idealism. Our mind is a constant, whirlwind of ideas and possibilities, each more exciting than the last. Taking this personality test helped me recognize that i approach life with an energy that draws others, i view things with creativity and driven by curiosity and empathy. I tend to value relationships and feel motivated when whatever i am working on has a positive impact. 

My career ambition is to become a Software Engineer, and my ENFP-T personality perfectly aligns with my goals. Software engineering requires creativity, teamwork, and, communication, all of these are natural qualities of a Campaigner. I like to brainstorm solutions, and learn continuously. These qualities are essential in this innovative technology field. My personality allows me to use my creative mind to design user-friendly systems that solves real life problems and improve lives, and not just meet technical needs. 

My Moral and Social Responsibility test results showed me a different insight.  The results stated that my moral reasoning tends to focus on respect for rules and authority. I tend to associate right and wrong with established laws and moral codes. I express my views in absolute terms, having a belief that order and structure helps to maintain fairness in the society.  While this can make me disciplined, i recognized that rigid thinking can limit my ability to view broader perspectives. Reflecting on this encouraged me to balance my respect for authority whilst having empathy and an open mind (some values highlighted in my personality type).

Reading on these two perspectives helped me understand  the importance of ethical awareness in professional practice. To reach my goal of being a software engineer, i should not only follow rules and standards but also have the ability to critically think about the social impact of my work. i strongly believe that technology should be implemented responsibly, respecting factors like privacy, fairness, and accessibility. My aim is apply my beliefs and personality to ensure that the work i choose to do, positively contributes to the society. 

In this process of getting to know my personality type and moral beliefs, i have learnt that those two are important factors for personal as well as professional growth. By combining empathy, creativity, and ethical beliefs, i can reach my goal of being a software engineer who designs innovative solutions while having integrity and social  accountability.
